TraceTech projects

Technology work worth documenting.

TraceTech is building a public record of repairs, restorations, custom builds and electronics work as real projects are completed.

A practical record

Real work, clearly explained.

Every useful project has a starting point: a device fault, an upgrade goal, a restoration challenge or an idea that needs building.

When a project is suitable to share, TraceTech will document the original issue, the technical approach and the practical outcome. Customer information and private data will never be included.

Case-study format

Each published project will answer three questions.

  1. 01

    What was the starting point?

The fault, goal or challenge that gave the project its direction.

  2. 02

    What approach made sense?

The testing, repair, upgrade or build process chosen for the situation.

  3. 03

    What was the outcome?

The practical result, including any useful limitations or next steps.
